At the Third Edition of Night of Culture, to be held in Messina Saturday, February 12, 2011, the Friends of the Museum of Messina will be present in various interesting initiatives.
It starts at 18.00 at the jewelry workshop of Business & Alvaro current site in Messina, Via Ugo Bassi n. 59-61 with the opening of a unique special exhibition entitled "Gold and Iron". The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Messina Archeoclub and which may be visited until 15 February, will offer visitors an authentic reconstruction of the goldsmith's workshop at the end of 700, a real melting pot of ancient art in which Messina expressed the best.
The opening ceremony will be introduced by a report from the President Dr. Franz Riccobono.
